Colourful Power Balls

These power balls are so easy to make and the perfect pre-workout snack! I have created a few varieties so you can choose which one to make or make all of them. They freeze perfectly as well so this is a great recipe to make a large batch!

Ingredients:

Base:
• 250 gr. of nuts (almonds, pecans, hazelnuts)
• 250 gr. of Dates pitted
• Pinch of cinnamon 
• Pinch of sea salt

Ingredients part 2:

Cacao power balls:
• 125 gr. of the date and nut mixture
• 1 tsp. cacao
• Orange zest
• 1 tbsp. of orange juice
• Cacao to roll in

Green power balls:
• 125 gr. of the date and nut mixture
• 1 tsp. tahini 
• 4 crushed cardamom pods 
• pistachio nuts crushed to roll in

Pink power balls:
• 125 gr. of the date and nut mixture
• 2 tsp. of grated coconut
• 3 drops of rose water
• Beetroot powder and rose petals to roll in

Yellow power balls:
• 125 gr. of the date and nut mixture
• 1 tsp. of turmeric 
• Orange zest
• Few drops of Fleur d’oranger
• Turmeric to roll in

Preparation:
1. Blitz the base ingredients together in a food processor and split into four parts.
2. Mix with the ingredients for the different kind of varieties below.
